Donald R. Bartholomew
Don was born March 2, 1954 to the late Lawrence Bartholomew and Ruby V. (Hoffman) Bartholomew.
He was a 1972 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On November 18, 1972 he married Charla Teresa Mitchell, who survives him.
He worked several jobs over the years including laborer, truck driver and video store manager but his favorite was taxi driver.
Don was an avid Penn State fan and a 35-year season ticket holder. This was a passion he shared with his grandchildren.
He enjoyed softball and played for the Clintonian in his early years.
Every summer he would go camping with his entire family. He looked forward to that week and planned it for months in advance.
Don coached pony league, youth league and junior league baseball as well as YMCA basketball and Pop Warner football.
The greatest joy of his life was being a grandfather.
Donald went on his journey home on October 1, 2019, surrounded by his family.
