Elva June "June" Bilbay

Elva June Bilbay, 94, of Lock Haven passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.
Born May 10, 1924 in Flemington, she was the daughter of the late George Nelson and Clara Blanche Moodler Wheeler.
On November 1, 1942, she married James Clarence Bilbay who preceded her in death on September 25, 1976.
June enjoyed playing BINGO at several local establishments, crocheting and playing cards. Most cherished was her time spent with her family and friends.
Surviving is her daughter, Gloria Ann Worden (Richard Reeder) of Loganton; two grandchildren: Charity A. Fox and Rhonda Sue Walker; five great grandchildren: Nicole Willits, Kyle Fox, Amanda Haines, Tylor Fox and Aryana Fox; four great, great grandchildren: Temperance Willits, Mila Willits, Darien Willits and Jacelyn Cashner; and many special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Clara Katie Walker; four brothers: William, Louis, Paul and George Wheeler; seven sisters: Anna Summerson, Audissa Bottorf, Ada Viola Marr, Martha Hamilton, Ruby Bilby, Vivian Berry and Helen Rauchau; a grandson, Troy Lynn Haines; a great, great grandson, Kaladin Paul; and her niece, Mariam Vonada, who always referred to her as "Mama June."
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 1 P.M. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Rev. Alan Eckenroad officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 until 8 P.M.
June's family requests that non-perishable food items be brought to the funeral home to be donated to Gatehouse Hospice in June's name.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc. to assist with funeral expenses.
