Linda Lou McNamara (McCauley) passed away in Danville on Saturday, November 30, 2019.
She was born August 31, 1946 at Lock Haven Hospital to the late Florence (Phillips) and Miles McCauley.
Linda was a 1964 graduate of Lock Haven High School. She went on to work at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., Piper Aircraft in Lock Haven and the Navel Shipyard in California. She spent her last 20 years working for the IRS from where she retired in 2001.
She then moved on to a life of drinking Diet Pepsi, eating hard pretzels, shopping and playing her beloved computer games.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Miles McCauley; four brothers: Edwin, Lawrence, Richard and Glenn McCauley; and a sister, Betty Council.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandy McNamara (Nick Lopez) of Blanchard; a son, John (Veronica) McNamara of Uniontown, OH; three granddaughters: Ashely Ruggiers (Michael Harris) of Beech Creek, Britnay Ruggiers (Erick Reeves, Sr.) of Jersey Shore and Courtney McNamara (Anthony Patterson) of Canton, OH; two grandsons, Nick (Alicia) Lopez of Tampa, FL and Jeremy McNamara (Sierra Syfrit) of Georgia; an adopted grandson, Joshua (Sarah) Bable; three great granddaughters; and ten great grandsons.
She is also survived by a brother, Terry (Linda) McCauley of Salladasburg and two sisters, Edith (Robert) Wagner of Sugar Run and Doris Schmidt of Lock Haven.
Following Linda’s wishes, there will be no memorial service.
In honor of her favorite holiday, Christmas, anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to The Salvation Army, 119 E. Church St., Lock Haven, Pa 17745, to assist with their Christmas outreaches.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
