Peggy Lou (Heller) Holter, 87, of Lock Haven passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Susque View Home.
Born November 3, 1930 in Lamar, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Helen Mae (Hoy) Heller.
Peggy was a graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On January 20, 1956 she married Gerald E. “Cotton” Holter, whom preceded her in death March 5, 2004.
Peggy was a member of East Main Street United Methodist Church, Lock Haven.
She worked at Sylvania, Montgomery Wards and Piper Aircraft.
Peggy had a love for flowers and ferns. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.
Surviving are three sons, David E. (Karen) Eck of Lamar, Richard A. Holter of Lock Haven, and Rodney P. Holter; a sister, Janice (Tom) Bevans of Maryland; a brother-in-law, Michael Gorcoff of OH; six grandchildren, Mandi (Brett) Bush, Daci (Steve) Killinger, Bryant and Phillip Holter, Rachel Freeman and Chase Holter; and three great grandchildren, Austin Bush and Gabryel and Rylee Killinger.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Gerald “Sonny” Heller; a sister, Marion Gorcoff; and a brother, Jay Heller.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the East Main Street United Methodist Church, Lock Haven or Susque-View Home, Inc., Lock Haven.
