Tanya S. Eisenhower, 69, of Mill Hall, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born in Lock Haven on August 9, 1950, the daughter of the late Floyd and Luella Porter Newberry.
Tanya was a 1968 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On June 30, 1968, she married Kenneth S. Eisenhower, who preceded her in death March 8, 2013.
Tanya retired from Kmart of Mill Hall after 30 years of service.
She was a member of the Salvation Army Church, Lock Haven where she was active in the Women’s Ministries group. She was also a member of the Clinton County Relay for Life Walking Warrior’s Team.
Tanya enjoyed sewing baby blankets for her family and friends who were expecting, playing bingo, dancing, family vacations and going on motorcycle rides with her husband.
She is survived by two daughters, Shannon R. Eisenhower and Heidi L. (Jim) Doyle, both of Mill Hall; a brother, Floyd (Kathy) Newberry of Loganton; a sister, Donna (Dean) Beck of Mill Hall; a sister-in-law, Betty Sonnie of Mill Hall; three grandchildren, Tyrus Lundy and Regan and Reese Doyle; a great grandchild, Jonas Lundy; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two infant sons, Adam and Travis Eisenhower; and a brother, Larry Sonnie.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 11A.M. at the Salvation Army Church, 119 E. Church St., Lock Haven, PA 17745.
Friends and family will be received at the church from 10A.M. until the time of the service.
Private inurnment will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Church, Lock Haven.
