Adaline N. Shaffer

Adaline N. Shaffer, 89, formerly of Mill Hall passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Jersey Shore Rehabilitation and Nursing.
Born January 22, 1936 in Bellefonte, she was a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Ruth Biddle Spicer.
In April 1968, she married Paul J. "PJ" Shaffer, Sr., with whom she shared 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2018.
Adaline enjoyed sewing and embroidering. She also loved watching the birds.
Surviving are her children: Grace L. Stark (Jim Rochford) of Bloomsburg, Paul J. (Tammy) Shaffer, Jr. of Loganton and Edna M. (Paul) Bartlett of Florida; brothers: Jim, Arthur, Ronnie and Roy; sisters: Elma, Ginny and Dorothy; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, PJ, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 5 until 7 PM at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
A Graveside Service will take place on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 2 PM at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Alan Eckenroad officiating.
Memorial contributions in Adaline's name may be made to James Van Zandt Veterans Hospital through the funeral home.
