Aline Proctor Gavlock, 97, of Renovo passed away at Eagle Ridge Personal Care Home on May 6, 2026.
She was born at home at Point Pleasant Farm in Hammersley Fork on March 21, 1929 to the late Hamilton and Twila (Starr) Proctor. She graduated from Renovo High School in 1946. After high school, she went to work in the shirt factory in Renovo during WWII.
She married Arthur Gavlock on November 15, 1947.
Over the years, she worked at Piper Aircraft and Chem Con in Renovo and was a nanny for over 20 years, retiring at age 77.
Aline was on the school board in Renovo in the late 1960s.
She enjoyed sewing and was an avid gardener.
Surviving are her ten children: Gary (Bridget) Gavlock, Marlene (Ken) Fantaskey, Michael (Donna) Gavlock, Donna (Phil) Kisko, Steve Gavlock, Rose (Steve) Suter, Dennis (Vickie) Gavlock, William Gavlock, Mark Gavlock and Linda (Mark) Lomax. She was blessed with 28 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life. She is also survived by two brothers, Tod and Neal Proctor.She was preceded in death by her husband, Art Gavlock; brothers: Hamilton, Dean, Alan, Gale and Jason Proctor; sisters, Joanne Proctor and Velma (Proctor) McKendrick; and two grandsons, Justin Lomax and Jimmy Storeman.
A Graveside Service will be held at New Maple Grove Cemetery on Kettle Creek (191 Maple Grove Rd., Renovo) on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at 1 PM with Martha Sykes officiating. A reception will follow at Cross Fork Fire Hall.
