Amy Jo Ammerman, 55, of Mill Hall, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 at her home.
Born June 8, 1969 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Lewis "Sam" Wheeler, Jr. and Mary Ann (Michael) Watkins McGuinness of Lock Haven.
Amy was a 1987 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
She was a member of the Lock Haven American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Amy enjoyed spending time outdoors, playing pool in local leagues and was a fan of NASCAR, especially of Rusty Wallace. She loved spending time with her friends and had a gift for making people laugh.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her step-mother, Helen Wheeler of Lock Haven; two daughters, Jessica (Ryan) Martin of Lock Haven and Taylor (Cody Winter) Bilbay of Avis; five brothers, Bill (Bonnie) Wheeler of North Carolina, Lewis L. "Sam" (Stacy Wright) Wheeler, III of Lock Haven, Steve Wheeler of McElhattan, Timothy (Tammy) Wheeler of Jersey Shore and Craig (Christina) Dunlap of Hyndman; two grandchildren, Aiden and Brayleigh Winter; several nieces and nephews; her cat, Gypsy; and her dog, Gracie.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 7 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
Friends and family will be received on Friday from 5 P.M. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
