Arlene M. Smith

Arlene M. Smith, 87, of Woolrich passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.
Born October 22, 1934 in Sackets Harbor, New York, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Gladys Joy.
In 1956, she married her love, Perry Smith, with whom she shared 47 years before his passing on April 17, 2003.
Arlene was Methodist by faith.
She was a wonderful cook and was also talented at crocheting and sewing. She enjoyed reading and doing word search puzzles.
Arlene spent her life loving and caring for her family including her daughters: Bonny (Dennis) Merrifield of Woolrich, Carol Mayes (Donald Baier) of Woolrich, Donna Fox of North Carolina, Gloria Smith of Florida and Christine (Michael) Reiman of North Carolina; a step-son, Roger (Gloria) Smith of New York; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Joy and a sister, Evelyn McConnell.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 2 P.M. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 P.M. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Clinton County SPCA.
