Arsilia "Artsy" Zimmerman Obituary
Arsilia "Artsy" Zimmerman, 90, formerly of Flemington, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.
Born in Lock Haven on January 9, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Carmen and Mabel DeHaas Vilello.
Artsy was married to Robert J. "Bobby" Zimmerman, Sr. for 50 years before his passing in 2003.
She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish, Lock Haven.
A 1951 graduate of Lock Haven High School, Artsy was employed locally at Beacon Loan and then Bobbie Brooks, before working as a Clerk in the Maintenance Department at Hammermill Paper Co. for over 10 years.
She is survived by her son, Joe Zimmerman of Tennessee; her sister, Pat Strouse of Mill Hall; three grandchildren: Jill and Andy Zimmerman of North Carolina and Lewie Zimmerman of Vermont; and three great-grandchildren: Eleanor, Artsy and William Zimmerman.
A memorial service with Catholic Prayers will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 1 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
