Bobbie Winkleman Obituary
Bobbie L. Winkleman, 79, of W. Third St., Lock Haven, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at his home.
Bobbie was born in Lock Haven on October 12, 1939, the son of the late Boyd and Coretta Wadsworth Winkleman.
He graduated from Lock Haven High School prior to serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1959 to 1969.
On March 29, 1969 he married the former Patricia Bower, whom preceded him in death on October 15, 2011.
Bobbie retired from Suburban Water Authority of Mill Hall after 38 years of service.
He was a member of the Castanea Fire Hall and the Lock Haven Son’s of Italy.
Bobbie was an avid woodworker and enjoyed spending time with his dogs.
He is survived by a daughter, Chris A. (Robert) Kneedler of Lock Haven; a son, Ronald D. Winkleman of McElhattan; a brother, John Winkleman of Mackeyville; a sister, Maxine Mayes of Woolrich; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Boyd and Sonny Winkleman, June Burnell, and Betty Boyer.
A graveside Military Honor Guard service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mackeyville Road, Mill Hall, PA 17751.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Clinton County SPCA.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
