Cecilia A. “Nan” Blackwell, 69, of Mill Hall passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna.
Born November 30, 1948 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Helen Smith Falls.
Nan was a 1967 graduate of South Williamsport High School and later earned her Business Degree from South Hills School of Business.
On December 12, 1987 she married Gary Blackwell who survives.
Throughout the years she was employed at various locations including the former Leader Nursing Home, Jersey Shore, the American Heart Association, Williamsport, Travel Center of America, Lamar and Holiday Inn, Lamar.
Nan attended East Main Street United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed crafting as well as crocheting, sewing and knitting.
Along with her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Ted) Parker of Beech Creek; a step-daughter, Tina (Lorin) Yarnell of Woolrich; a sister, Evelyn Fitzsimmons of South Williamsport; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Frank Shope, II and a brother, Richard “Dick” Falls.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 2 P.M. at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
