Charles Earl Hunter, Jr., 73, of Lock Haven passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Born May 12, 1952 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Charles Earl and Ethel (Wenker) Hunter.
After graduating from Lock Haven High School in 1970, he earned his Business degree from Williamsport Area Community College.
On August 30, 1985, he married the former Janet L. Rooks, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.
Charlie was employed at Stellant Systems for 40 years as a Quality Assurance Manager, retiring in 2019. He then became a part-time consultant for the company.
In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting. More recently, he loved fishing as well as camping at Pine Cradle Lake with his wife, Janet.
Nothing was more important to Charlie, though, than his family.
In addition to his wife, Janet Hunter, he is survived by his children: Chad (Jessica) Hunter, Shannon (Shawn) Kinley, Erin Dieter and Michael (Amanda) Hobbs; sister, Barb (Rob) Szumowski; grandchildren: Jordan (Trent) Risley, Austin (Ashley) Hobbs, Anna (Cobe) Maldonado, Dakota Dieter, Taylor (Evan) Baker, Mason Hunter, Ian Robinson, Payton Kinley and Calen Hunter; and great grandchildren: Macey Pappas, Everett Risley, Kaisen Hobbs and Emersyn Risley.
Friends and family will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 4 until 6 PM at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Charlie's name may be made to either the Clinton County SPCA or American Heart Association through the funeral home.
