Cheryl K. "Chic" Hurd, 69, of Lock Haven passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 at her home.
Born March 13, 1955 in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter of the late Harry N. and Kay (Neale) Boatman.
Chic was a member of the Jersey Shore High School Class of '74.
She was married to Stephen R. Hurd for 9 years before his passing in 2016.
She enjoyed crocheting and painting ceramics as well as birdwatching. Chic had a thing for gnomes and absolutely loved Christmas. She liked driving and riding motorcycle, especially taking rides around Pennsylvania with Steve on his Harley Ultra.
Surviving are her children: Christopher (Shawne) Boring, Heather (Josh) Dodson and Rick Fetzer; brothers: Jerry (Carol) Boatman, Harry (Kim) Boatman, Jr., Richard (Cathy) Boatman and Jim (Kelly) Boatman; sister, Anita Douglas; grandchildren: Thomasina, Saraya, Nick and Chris, Jr. "Bubba" Boring, Addison, Tyler and Logan Dodson and Jaidyn and Alexis Fetzer; and great grandchildren: Dahliah, Paisley, Quinn and Chris, III "CJ" Boring.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jamie Fetzer and brothers, Thomas "Tim" Boatman and Anthony Kowalski.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
