Connie Sue Packer

Connie Sue Packer, 74, of Marsh Creek was welcomed into the arms of her Savior on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
Born August 1, 1951, in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm D. and Ida B. (Confer) Kunes.
On August 15, 1981, she married her best friend, Leroy S. "Popeye" Packer, with whom she shared 39 years of marriage before his passing in 2021.
Connie's faith was evident by her daily Bible reading and church attendance at Liberty Baptist Church, Blanchard.
She loved going to yard sales as well as watching Westerns.
Connie devoted her life to her pride and joy, her family.
Surviving are her children: Melissa (Doug) Burd of Mill Hall, Lana (Charlie) Davis of Milesburg and Travis Packer of Marsh Creek; sisters, Karen (Bill) Nearhood of Bellefonte and Rita (Dave) Harer of Lock Haven; grandchildren: Robbie and Ethan Heineman, Jordan (Sean) Frantz and Olivia Davis; and great grandchildren: Lily Heineman and Aspen, Laurel and Nolan Frantz. She was also blessed with three stepdaughters: Diane, Ness and Linnie and many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she enjoyed spending time with.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John R. Confer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Liberty Baptist Church, 100 Bald Eagle St., Blanchard, with Pastor Bill Hargenrader officiating. Friends and family will be received at the church on Sunday from 3:00 PM until the time of the service.
Because of her kind and gentle personality, Connie's family requests that you consider doing an act of kindness each day in her memory.
