Dale Counsil Obituary
Dale "Skip" A. Counsil, Jr. 68, of Lock Haven passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in Danville.
Born May 6, 1953 in Lock Haven, he was the son the late Dale A. and Betty Jean Ferree Counsil, Sr.
Skip graduated from Bald Eagle Nittany High School in 1971.
He was employed at Hammermill Paper Company as a machinist for almost 30 years. Dale then went to work for Evergreen Commons as a maintenance technician until his retirement in 2018.
On March 28, 1991 in Mill Hall, Skip married the love of his life, the former Sabrina M. Conner, who survives.
Skip was an avid outdoorsman and spent a lot of time in the mountains of Central Pennsylvania. Skip especially enjoyed hunting and fishing which he participated in year-round.
In addition to Skip's wife Sabrina, he is survived by his children: Lisa (Brandon) Coldren of McElhattan, Tuffy (Heather) Counsil of Draketown, Jason Counsil of Florida, and Chase Counsil of Flemington; five grandchildren, Jackie, Hannah, Alton, Cameron, and Blaine; and a great granddaughter, Thea.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 3 P.M. until 4 P.M.
