David was a 1957 graduate of Lock Haven High School where he was active in football and wrestling.

David was employed by Hammermill Paper Company and was the Manager of the Hammermill Federal Credit Union for 25 years until his retirement.

David loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed his many trips to Quebec with his hunting buddies as well as several trip to 1000 Islands with family. David also cherished his time in Florida visiting relatives while waiting for the planting season back home in Pennsylvania to arrive. He loved working in his garden and tending to the flowers.
