Dennis Sheasley Obituary

Dennis Jay Sheasley, 63, of McElhattan, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at his home.
Born March 21, 1957 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Charles W. and June L. Merryman Sheasley.
On December 4, 1993 at the Blanchard Church of Christ, Denny married the former Carolyn Spangler, who survives.
He retired from Lock Haven Hospital after over 40 years of service.
Denny had a passion for fishing and hunting and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing softball. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and always looked forward to family picnics.
In addition to his wife, Carolyn, he is survived by a son, Matthew (Jodi) Sheasley of Blanchard; a daughter, Stacie (Shawn) Kurtz of Lock Haven; a sister, Ginger Davis of Georgia; five grandchildren, Cameron and Faith Sheasley and Autumn, Mackenzie and Timothy Tule; two step-grandchildren, Dallas and Bradley Kurtz; two great grandchildren, Lilyana Schmouder and Giana Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Sheasley.
A service will be announced at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745 to assist with funeral expenses.
