Donald Dullen Obituary

Donald C. Dullen, 87, of Howard passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Born July 2, 1932 in Bellefonte, he was a son of the late John W. and Margaret J. (Delaney) Dullen.

Donald was a 1948 graduate of Howard High School.

He then proudly served in the United States Air Force.

On September 11, 1954 he married his love, the former Blanch C. Crossmyer, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage.

Donald was employed by Avco Motors, Williamsport, as an airplane engine tester for over 26 years before retiring in 1990.

He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Bellefonte.

Donald was also a member of Quarter to Two Flying Club in Williamsport.

He enjoyed hunting, flying and playing guitar. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Blanch Dullen of Howard, he is survived by three children: Michael R. (Karen) Dullen of Alaska, Arlin D. (Audrey) Dullen of Howard and Cynthia Marie Myers of Bellefonte; a sister, Maxine Dullen of Lock Haven; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin M. and Jack D. Dullen and six sisters: Elizabeth Laubach, Verna Butler, Mary Mann, Gloria Villelo, Lila Eck and Florence Piccolo.

Private services will be held at the convenience of his family.

Memorial Contributions in Donald’s name may be made to Quarter to Two Flying Club through the funeral home.
