Donald L. Mincer, Jr., 57, of Renovo died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Bucktail Medical Center.
Born July 16, 1961 in Jersey Shore, he was the son of the late Donald L. Mincer, Sr. and Mary E. Miller Engle.
Donald graduated from Saint Gregory High School.
A few years later he started his family.
In 1995 he and his brother started their journey in wresting with WWWA as Fire and Ice.
Donald liked traveling as well as the outdoors. He also enjoyed fishing, swimming, gold-panning and long walks.
His biggest love, though, was his family. Donald cherished getting all of his family together to enjoy each other’s company.
Donald was a very kind, loving, caring who was all about family. Whether you were a blood-relative or a friend, he still thought of you as family. He would help out anyone he could, no matter what the need was. If he had it, he would give it- even if it meant he’d have to go without.
Surviving is his loving wife, Amanda Shelley Mincer and their daughter, Amanda Mincer, of Renovo; his son and daughter-in-law, Donald L. and Cassandra Mincer, III of Lock Haven; his daughter, Bobbie Mincer and her fiancé, Brandon Hanley of Lock Haven; a step-daughter, Samantha (Joshua) Watkins of Lamar; two step-sons, Christopher Mincer and John (Justine) Mincer, both of Lock Haven; five brothers: John (Candace) Mincer, Sr. of Renovo, Stacy (Stephanie) Mincer of Mill Hall, Robbie (Angela) Mincer of Lock Haven, Keith Mincer of Castanea and Frank (Tina) Marshall of Jersey Shore; a sister, Casey R. (Gary) Ludwig of Oval; 32 grandchildren; and 19 nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irving and Mary Miller.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 1:30 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745. Burial will follow at Dunnstown Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 12 Noon until the time of the service.
