Doris Bolopue Quigg Obituary
Doris C. Bolopue Quigg, 95, of Flemington passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 after a short stay at Eagle Ridge Personal Care Home.
Born December 8, 1926 in Blanchard, she was a daughter of the late Leland S. and Faye Weston Bolopue.
After graduating from Lock Haven High School, she began working at Piper Aircraft.
On August 8, 1947, she married her love, Harold T. Quigg who preceded her in death on May 9, 1991.
She was a member of the Lock Haven First Church of Christ.
Doris enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading and doing crossword and Sudoku puzzles.
Most of all, Doris loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughters, Beth (Terry) Farringer of Lamar and Barbara (Paul) Bilbay of Mill Hall; her sister, Barbara (Gene) Teaman of Blanchard; four grandchildren: Matthew Farringer, Ben (Amanda) Confer, Jason (Linda) Bilbay and Michael Bilbay; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters: Jane Carter, Louise Wright, Polly Pringle and Clare Winslow as well as her beloved dog, Lacy.
Per her wishes, all services will be private. Interment will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton County S.P.C.A. or Lock Haven First Church of Christ c/o Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745.
