Florence Yost Obituary
Florence A. Yost, 76, of Lock Haven passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at her home.
Born November 10, 1944 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late John and Jennie (Pringle) Mapstone, Jr.
Florence was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and attended Williamsport Area Community College.
On December 11, 1963, she married Randall A. Yost, with whom she shared 51 years of marriage before his passing in 2015.
Florence was employed by Woolrich Woolen Mills as a seamstress.
She enjoyed reading Agatha Christie novels and was a huge fan and collector of Gone with the Wind memorabilia. Florence loved her cats.
Surviving is her son, Thomas A. Yost of Lock Haven; her sister, Kathryn (James) Van Horn of Lock Haven; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Florence’s name may be made to the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745, to assist with funeral expenses.
