Forrest C. Styers

Forrest C. Styers, Jr., 83, of Lock Haven passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Haven Place, Lock Haven.
Born April 30, 1941 in Syracuse, NY, he was a son of the late Forrest C. and Zetta (Shady) Styers, Sr.
Forrest was a 1960 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
He worked in the construction field.
On May 10, 1996, he married the former Patricia Newberry with whom he shared 28 years of marriage.
Forrest was an avid reader.
He loved hunting and fishing as well as both wood whittling and wood working.
In addition to his wife, Patricia Styers of Lock Haven, he is survived by three sons: Robert (Donna) Styers of Harrisburg, Jeremy Styers of Texas and Cory (Rikki) Styers of Lock Haven; three daughters: Rosemary Patricia (Mark) Cook of Texas, Tammy Phillips of Johnstown and Leann Styers of Lock Haven; a step-daughter, Samantha Haagen of Avis; three brothers: Richard (Linda), Francis (Jeannie) and Carl Styers, all of Lock Haven; many grandchildren including Elizabeth and Madison; and several great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Gary Styers and a sister, Erlene Stephens.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 1 P.M. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Rev. Alan Eckenroad officiating. Private burial will be at Dunnstown Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beech Creek Wesleyan Church through the funeral home.
