Frank T. Shinn

Frank T. "Butch" Shinn, Jr., 71, of Lock Haven and formerly of DuBois passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at UPMC Haven Place.
Born March 9, 1950 in Renovo, he was a son of the late Frank T. and Jean (Hartsock) Shinn, Sr.
Butch was employed in the coal strip mining industry.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Falls Creek.
Butch enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as working on cars and operating heavy equipment.
Surviving are his children, Rebecca Shinn McDaniel and Donald Shinn (fiancé, Shania), both of Muncy; two brothers, Larry (Mary) Shinn of Renovo and James (Cindy) Shinn of DuBois; a sister, Sandra (Thom) Burch of Renovo; and three grandchildren: Cameron and Elijah McDaniel and Izabella Shinn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert William Shinn; a brother, Eugene "Bub" Shinn; a sister, Nancy Fantaski; and his longtime companion, Wanetta Cook.
A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 11 A.M. at North Bend Cemetery.
