Franklin L. Walker passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, on September 4, 2020 at the age of 84. Frank was born on December 17, 1935 in Orviston, the son of the late McDowell and Mary Ann (Lucas) Walker.

He married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Donna R. Walker, on June 4, 1955. He was preceded in death by Donna and his son, Timothy L. Walker.

He was a 1953 graduate of Lock Haven High School and proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1954 to 1958 as a Gunner’s Mate aboard the USS Newport News. He retired from International Paper Company as a Payroll Supervisor in 1992.

He is survived by a daughter, Suzanne (Michael) Emmet of Lancaster, a daughter-in-law, Patty Walker of Wellington, FL, two grandchildren, Michael Emmet Jr. and Mary Kathleen (Fraser) Davis, and his great-granddaughter, Gaia Emmet, who was the apple of his eye.
