Obituary

Gary J. Goodman, Sr., 76, of Lock Haven, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Jersey Shore Hospital from COVID and complications due to diabetes.

Born on January 23, 1944, he was the son of the late Millard F. and Josephine Bower Goodman.

Gary was a 1962 graduate of Lock Haven High School.

On November 8, 1968, he married his soul mate, Helen K. Orndorf, who survives.

Gary was employed as a laborer by both Clinton Paper Co., and Hammermill Paper Co.

Gary was a life member of the Castanea Fire Co. He also attended Penn Tech, and received a certificate in small engine repair. He owned and operated Goodman's Small Engine Repair for many years. He enjoyed time spent with his family, friends, and his dog Charlie, but he also enjoyed the time he spent in his garage working on anything and everything with his brother.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Gary J. Goodman Jr. at home; a brother, Bill (Carol) Goodman; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Geneva Bauman; and a nephew, Tommy Bauman.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
