Gavin Michael Frey

Gavin Michael Frey, 18, of Howard passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024.
Born January 24, 2006 in Lock Haven, he was the son of Todd and Heather (Witmer) Frey.
Gavin attended Central Mountain High School and was a 2024 graduate of Commonwealth Charter Academy.
He was employed as a groundskeeper at Centre County Grange Fairground.
Gavin enjoyed fishing, hunting and hanging out with his friends- especially his girlfriend, Aaliyah Mastori and his best buds, DJ and Caleb.
In addition to his parents, Todd and Heather Frey of Howard, he is survived by a sister, Skyler M. Frey of Howard; maternal grandmother, Lucy (Chris) Maney of Zion; maternal grandfather, Les Witmer of Howard; paternal grandparents, Lyle and Kelly Frey of Marsh Creek; great grandmother, Patricia Yost of Mill Hall; aunts, Brandi Witmer of Lock Haven and Julie (Ryan) D'Agostino of State College; uncles, Lyle Frey, Jr. of Marsh Creek and TC (Shaylie) Maney of Carlisle; and his girlfriend, Aaliyah Masorti of Lock Haven.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Shirley Witmer and Philip and Janet Heivly.
A private visitation and funeral will be held for his immediate family. A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be announced in the upcoming days.
