Obituary

Glenn Steven "Bear" Miller, 61, of Mill Hall passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
Born July 10, 1960 in Jersey Shore, he was a son of the late Glenn J. and Mary Ellen (Dugan) Miller.
Glenn was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School and earned his Diesel Mechanic degree from Penn College of Technology.
He was employed at Confer's Trucking, Howard as a diesel mechanic, then at Corning for 13 years before returning to Confer's Trucking.
In 1998, he married his love, the former Nancy M. Shearer, with whom he shared 23 years of marriage.
Glenn was a member of Garman Lutheran Church, Jersey Shore.
Glenn loved to hunt and cherished the time he spent in the woods and camping with his brothers and great, great nephews, Ryan and Brody Strouse, while hunting.
He also enjoyed shooting at the Bald Eagle Beagle Club, fishing and camping with his wife.
In addition to his wife, Nancy Miller, he is survived by two brothers, Harvey (Penny) Miller of Castanea and Gerald (Deborah) Miller of Avis; a sister, Joanne Temons of Jersey Shore; a sister-in-law, Susan Ely of Jersey Shore; and many nieces and nephews as well as great and great, great nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored.
A Memorial Service for Glenn will be held at a later time.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
