Ila Jean Hatalski of Lansdale, PA, passed away on April 26, 2023 from natural causes.
Ila was born on April 8, 1925 to Christie and Catherine Bitner in Lock Haven, Pa and raised in Beech Creek, PA.
Ila graduated from Lock Haven High School in the class of 1942.
She married William Hatalski on April 3, 1948 in Ramey, PA and returned back to Lock Haven to work for Piper Aircraft Corp.
Ila was known for her great cooking talents and worked in the food service industry for many years before retiring to Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill in 2001 and relocated to Lansdale, PA in 2010 to be near her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Marissa Ohama of Narberth, PA; and son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Patti (Sweeney) Hatalski of Lansdale, PA; four grandchildren, Jennifer Ohama and Tim Carr of Newport Beach, CA, Jon Chris and Amanda (Walker) Hatalski of Glenside, PA, J. Michael and Kara (Rodemer) Hatalski of Glenside, PA and Maribeth and her husband Andrew Gnatt of Malvern, PA; two brothers, Christie and wife Sarah Bitner of Howard, PA and Bill and wife Marilyn Bitner of McElhattan, PA; and eight great-grandchildren that were the loves of her life.
A private family celebration of her 98 years will be held at a later date.
