Jane Boyer

Jane Boyer, 85, of Woodward Meadows, Lock Haven, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born December 22, 1938 in Swissdale, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ida Helbley Shoemaker.
Jane was a 1956 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
In 1957, she married John L. Boyer, Sr., with whom she shared 62 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2019.
Jane was employed by Woolrich Woolen Mill as a seamstress.
She was a member of Swissdale United Methodist Church.
Jane loved caring for her family and home. She also enjoyed cooking.
Surviving are her sons, John (Debra) Boyer, Jr. of Webbwood and Gregory Boyer of Lock Haven; four grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Shoemaker, Jr.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 11 A.M. at Swissdale Cemetery with Pastor Jack Hocker officiating.
