Jean Snook, 82, of Lock Haven passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at UPMC Williamsport.
Born July 9, 1942 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Vandetta Kephart Fisher.
Jean attended Jersey Shore High School.
She was employed as a waitress at the former Boron Truck Stop, Lamar and the VFW.
Jean was Methodist by faith.
She was an avid reader and book lover, always looking forward to the next book sale at the Ross Library. She enjoyed ghost stories.
Jean loved going to yard sales and flea markets.
She was a devoted donor to various organizations including the Catholic Church and Native American Schools of Arizona.
Surviving are two children: Sharon (Pam) Croak of Antes Fort and Allen Snook of Dunnstown; her sister, Ruth Fisher of Arizona; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Snook; a grandson, Jared Croak; a great grandson, Jared Croak, Jr.; and her uncle who was like a second father, Carl Kephart, Sr.
Services will be held at the convenience of her family.
