Jeanne M. Greene

Jeanne M. Greene, 66, of Lock Haven passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.
Born April 22, 1958 in Jersey City, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Ray and Mary Jeanne (Christianson) Shoop.
Jeanne was a 1976 graduate of Henderson High School and then earned her Bachelor Degree in Economics from Penn State University.
On November 24, 1979, she married her best friend, Donald E. Greene, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.
Jeanne was a property manager, and was currently employed by Arbor Housing.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Exton.
Jeanne enjoyed bicycle riding, gardening and baking. She also loved her kitties. Most cherished, though, was her family- especially her granddaughter.
In addition to her husband, Donald Greene, she is survived by three children: Nicole Greene (Matthew Winn) of Flemington, Daniel Greene of State College and Matthew Greene of Lock Haven; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Winn; and sisters: Elizabeth (Randall) Dickinson of Arizona, Karen Shoop of West Chester and Susan Shoop of Downingtown.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Amanda Shoop.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 AM until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions in Jeanne's name may be made to the Clinton County SPCA through the funeral home.
