Josephine "Sally" Rosamelia, 93, formerly of Lock Haven passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Bucktail Medical Center Nursing Home.
Born December 9, 1929 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Mary Vilello Rosamelia.
Sally was a 1948 graduate of St. Joseph's High School, Renovo and a 1952 graduate of Mount Alloysius College, Cresson, where she earned her degree as a Medical Technologist.
She started her career as a Medical Technologist at St. Petersburg Medical Center, Florida and then worked at Morristown Memorial Hospital, New Jersey for 32 years before retiring in 1986.
Sally was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, attending St. Agnes Catholic Church.
Surviving is her sister, Gloria Stahley of Lock Haven; a niece, Mary Jo Mather; two nephews, Jeff and Steve Stahley; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 11 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven with Rev. Father Joseph Orr officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Renovo.
Memorial contributions in Sally's name may be made either Holy Spirit Parish or the Lock Haven Catholic School Endowment Fund, c/o Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven, PA 17745.
