Judy Ann Marconi

Judy Ann Marconi, 82, of Lock Haven passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Marywood Heights, Scranton.
Born January 29, 1943 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Aurelia (Embick) Marconi.
Judy attended St. Agnes Elementary School and graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1960.
After graduation, she began working for the Federal Reserve in Washington, D.C., remaining there until 1963. From 1963 until 1969, she was employed at Lock Haven University. From there, Judy spent two years, 1969-1971, working for the CIA in Washington, D.C. She then moved to State College, gaining employment at Penn State University until her retirement in 1996. After retiring, she worked for the Sustainable Forestry Initiative from 1997 until 2002. Following this, she worked for five years as a secretary at Good Shepherd Church, her parish in State College.
Judy was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, attending St. Agnes Catholic Church. She was a Third Order Carmelite and was named Judy of the Resurrection.
With a distant strain of Native American blood in her, Judy loved the outdoors and nature- especially mountains, animals and flowers. She often captured nature's beauty through the lens of a camera. This reflected her lifelong love of God, the source and creator of nature's beauty. She was also an avid reader.
Surviving are her siblings, Michael A. (Patricia) Marconi of Lock Haven and Eleanor Mary Marconi, IHM of Scranton and three nephews: Jeffery and Jason Marconi, both of Lock Haven and James Marconi of Lancaster.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 11 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven with Rev. Father Joseph Orr officiating. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington on Thursday from 9:30 until 10:45 AM.
Memorial contributions in Judy's name may be made to Marywood Heights through the funeral home.
