Kimberly Schmidt, 64, formerly of Lock Haven and a current resident of Magnolia Personal Care Home, Mifflintown, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023.
She was born in Lock Haven on September 13, 1959.
Kimberly was a 1978 graduate of Lock Haven High School. Together, she and her Mom attended Empire Beauty School.
Throughout the years, Kimberly worked as a beautician, nurses' aide, waitress and house cleaner.
She was a member of the Sons of Italy, American Legion, Moose and Castanea Fire Hall.
Kimberly enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles and rip off tickets.
Surviving is her mother, Connie Holter Allen of Lock Haven; father, Dean Schmidt of Tylersville; sister, Cindy Kinley of Mill Hall; three brothers: Keith Schmidt of Lock Haven, Kevin Schmidt of Mill Hall and Dean Schmidt of McElhattan; a step-brother, Mark Allen of Lock Haven; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her longtime boyfriend, Michael Caruso in 2021; a step-brother, Bruce Allen; and her beloved dog, Bear.
Per her wishes, there will be no services. Inurnment will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
