Linda M. (Aber) Mitchell

Another angel got her wings as our beloved mother, Linda (Aber) Mitchell, passed to the arms of God surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Linda was born May 30, 1945 to the late Charles and Jennie (Watson) Aber. She married the love of her life, the late David Mitchell, Sr., on February 16, 1963. They were blessed with four children: Dori (Scott) Doty, Jamie (Michael) Brouse, Amy (John) Breon and David (Niki) Mitchell, Jr.
Linda worked numerous jobs including driving school bus and working at the Woolrich Plant in Blanchard. Her favorite job, however, was being a childcare provider for her grandchildren. She was most proud of Courtney (Leo) McHugh, Tessa (Greg, Jr.) Gummo, Sadie Breon, Landon Breon, Jennie Brouse, Chloe Mitchell, Sophie Mitchell and Eva Mitchell.
Growing up in Orviston, she was surrounded by a large family. Linda was happiest when gathered with her loved ones. She had six siblings: Bonna (Creigh) Frazier, the late Charles (Karen) Aber, Jr., the late Judy (Thomas) Jaskowak, Sandy (Richard) Burk, the late Robert (Denise) Aber and the late Donald (Sheila Ferster) Aber. She is also loved by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Linda is also survived by her one and only ever house dog, Carper.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11 A.M. at Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main St., Beech Creek with Pastor Zach Woods officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the church on Saturday from 9 A.M. until the time of the service.
Per her family's request, masks are strongly encouraged.
Linda's family will care for flowers. Memorial contributions in her name may be made through the funeral home to the David and Linda Mitchell Athletic Scholarship, c/o Keystone Central Foundation.
