Louise E. McGinness

Louise E. McGinness, 78, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025 at UPMC- Haven Place.
Born November 2, 1946 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Richard C. and Joyce (Myer) Sohmer.
Louise graduated from the former Lock Haven High School and Thompson Institute in 1964.
She was Catholic by faith.
Louise was employed by the Department of Revenue, First National Bank in Harrisburg, Piper, Hammermill, Widman's and Brodart.
Surviving is her son, Darrin D. McGinness and his wife, Tommie and her brother, Richard C. Sohmer and his wife, Darlene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn A. McGinness and sister, Susan Sohmer Wooding.
Private services will be held at the convenience of her family.
