Marla S. Wadsworth

Marla S. Wadsworth, 70, of Woolrich passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at UPMC Williamsport.
Born February 16, 1955, she was the only child of the late Richard E. and Doris (Haight) Smith.
She was a 1973 graduate of Lock Haven High School and earned her Associates Degree at Penn College of Technology.
Marla was employed as a Mental Health Technician at Divine Providence Hospital.
She attended Covenant United Methodist.
Marla participated in the Alumni Marching Band.
She was a lover of animals.
Surviving are her children, Farrah (Ken) Shoemaker of Lock Haven and Chase Wadsworth (Jessica Powers) of Woolrich; four grandchildren: Gavin Rafter, Jaylyn Powers, Chase Wadsworth, Jr. and Xavier Wadsworth; and her longtime companion, David Smith of Lock Haven.
She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel "Danny" Wadsworth.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 11 AM at Swissdale United Methodist Church, 974 E. Croak Hollow Rd., Swissdale, with Pastor Jack Hocker officiating. Private burial will be at Woolrich Cemetery.
