Mary Asbury Obituary
Mary Lou Asbury, 64, of Blanchard, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Gatehouse Hospice, Williamsport.
Born May 23, 1961 in Richlands, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James R. Alley, Jr. and Gladys V. Cruey Alley.
On July 31, 1991, she married Earnest Asbury who preceded her in death February 23, 2010.
Mary was a member of the Blanchard Church of Christ, Blanchard, PA.
She enjoyed coloring on her iPad in her free time.
Mary is survived by a son, J.D. (Ashley) Earnest of Alabama; two daughters, Angie (Stanton) McClanahan of Blanchard and Genny (Scotty) Asbury of Virginia; two brothers, Howard and Tom Alley; and seven grandchildren: James, Stanton, Jr., Landon, Payton, Rylee, Mason and Levi.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Barbara Sue Alley; a sister, Bessie Puckett; and a brother, Jack Alley.
Private services will be held at the convenience of Mary's family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
