Max L. Lapp

Max L. Lapp, 84, of Mill Hall, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
Born on December 19, 1940, in Antes Fort, as one of six children to Herbert and Ruth (Simcox) Lapp.
He was married to his beloved wife, Catherine A. (Pizzuto) Lapp, who survives, after sharing 43 years of marriage.
Max attended Lock Haven High School and with his parents' permission entered the US Navy at the age of 17, proudly serving in the SEABEES, specializing as an electrician.
Always a hardworking man, Max was employed by Haven Homes for 45 years.
He enjoyed time on the golf course, playing guitar and most of all spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Cathy, he is survived by children: Mike Lapp and Wes Lapp of Williamsport; Jason Walker of Lock Haven; Sean Lapp and Stephanie (Jimmy) Donley of Mill Hall; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
A time of visitation for Max will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 11 to 1 P.M. at the Lock Haven VFW, John Russo Hall, 1110 East Water St., Lock Haven, PA 17745.
