Myron Deitrick Obituary
Myron H. Deitrick, 91, of Avis, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Lock Haven Rehabilitation and Senior Living.
Born December 23, 1933 in Shamokin, he was the son of the late Adam E. and Mae Amelia Hine Deitrick.
Myron was a graduate of Ralpho Township High School.
He was married to the former Joyce Elaine Spotts until her passing in 2010.
Myron was Methodist by faith and attended Phelps Chapel and was a life member of the Avis Fire Company.
He enjoyed fishing, his cars and smoking his cigars. Most of all, Myron found his greatest joy in being of help to others - no matter their need.
He is survived by a son, Myron D. (Natalie) Deitrick of Avis; two daughters, Lori (Jim) Maguire of McElhattan and Diane (Enos) Kimball of Pine Creek; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin and Adam Deitrick; and a sister, Marion Hockenbrock.
Private services will be held at the convenience of his family with interment at Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury, PA.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
