Pamela Jean (McGhee) Bowes 82, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Jersey Shore Nursing & Rehab Facility where she has been residing since January 2024.
Born March 22, 1943 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Dean and Olive (McGhee) Boone.
On November 8, 1962, she married Lance K. Bowes. They resided together in Beech Creek until his passing in 2000.
Pamela was employed at Bobbie Brook and then waitressed at various restaurants.
She attended the First Church of Christ, Lock Haven.
Pamela loved quilting and enjoyed eating out at restaurants.
She leaves behind three sons: Ralph E. (Tammy) McCloskey, Jr. of Bellefonte, PA, Chief Master Sergeant (Ret) Jeffery K. (Cristi) Bowes of LaVernia, TX and Chief Warrant Officer 4 (Ret) Mark A. (Khristy) Bowes of Madison, AL; three sisters: Patricia Wadsworth, Diane Mahoney and Denise Boone; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.Her family will have a private graveside service at their convenience.
