Patricia A. (Watkins) Kurtz

Patricia A. Kurtz, 67, of Lock Haven passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at UPMC Lock Haven.
Born November 26, 1958 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy (Powers) Watkins, Sr.
Patricia was a 1976 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On October 30, 1987, she married her best friend, Rusty Kurtz, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage before his passing in 2021.
In her younger years, she was employed at Island Poultry. She then was employed as a cook at The Valley Hotel and later as the manager of Lock Haven 40 & 8.
She was also a member of the 40 & 8.
Whether shooting pool or hanging out, Patricia enjoyed spending time with her many friends and acquaintances.
She loved her pets- her cats, Sassy and Daisy and dog, Cocoa, who recently passed.
Surviving are her brother, Roy "Jr." (Catherine) Watkins of Jersey Shore; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Watkins, Becky Yost and Cathy Andrus; brother-in-law, Shawn Kurtz; nieces: Jill Edmonds, Stephanie Graves and Heather Baker; and nephew, Eric Watkins.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Watkins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
