Patricia Styers Obituary
Patricia Elise Styers, 71, formerly of Mill Hall, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Hershey Medical Center. Patricia was married to James A. Styers, Sr. for 41 years before his passing on June 6, 2016.
Patty was born on March 4, 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was the daughter of the late William A. and Roberta C. Edwards McGlothin. Patricia was also preceded in death by her sister, Nelly "Louise" Tressler.
Patty's passion in life revolved around her family. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She shared a special bond with her sister Linda and they were inseparable. Her other passions included anything that pertained to water, strolls on the beach, going out dancing with "the girls" and a strong affection for shopping.
She is survived by her son, David (Lindsey) Styers of Lock Haven; her daughter, Alecia (Rich) Peddigree of Camp Hill; a step-son, James (Laurie) Styers, Jr. of Beech Creek; her sister, Linda (Richard) Barner of Beech Creek; eleven grandchildren: Dylen, Damian, Chase, Cambrea, Piper, Hana, Liam, James, Naomi, Landon and Addison; and two great-grandchildren, Adria and Brogan.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11 A.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Rev. Jay Saldana officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:30 until the start of the service.
