Peggy Bartlebaugh Obituary
Peggy Lucille Bartlebaugh, 86, formerly of Trout Run, PA and longtime resident of Milroy, died Tuesday September 25, 2018 at 11:05 am at Susque-View Nursing Home in Lock Haven, PA.
Born in Milroy, PA on February 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Louis Lash and Bertha Kathryn (King) Bartlebaugh.
Peggy retired from Fisher Electronics/Sanyo Audio, where she spent the majority of her career.
Peggy’s most important role was that of a mother and a remarkable mother she was, always putting her daughter first!
She will be missed by many as she was the best mom, favorite aunt and great friend.
She loved to cook, visit friends and family, sun worship and sit on her porch watching over Pot Licker Flats!
She is survived by her daughter, Gay Lee Bartlebaugh and daughter–in-law, Pamela Ergott of South Williamsport, PA. She is also survived by one sister: Mary Lou Barry of Spring Mills, PA and many nieces and nephews, which were very important to her.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Beatrice Linthurst, Shirley Ann Bartlebaugh Young; and one brother, John William Bartlebaugh.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 27 at 1 p.m., at the Milroy Fire Hall, Milroy, PA. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Peggy and all the things she meant to us. Snacks and sweets will be available in true Peggy style!
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Peggy Bartlebaugh Memorial Fund at RoseBird Veterinary Center in honor of Peggy’s love of dogs, especially her beloved Bunker. This fund has been established to ensure pets receive necessary medical care for unexpected illness or injury if owners are financially unable to meet these needs.
