Richard Milo “Dick” Leitch, 79, formerly of Rote and most recently of Lock Haven passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.
Born December 16, 1938 in Clintondale, he was the son of the late Edward W. and Nellie M. Ragor Leitch.
Dick was a graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School.
He served in the United States Army for six years during the Vietnam War.
Dick then was employed by Cerro Metal Products in Bellefonte for 47 years until his retirement.
Over the years he volunteered with the Rote Water Authority as well as Lamar Township Volunteer Fire Company.
Dick was a member of the American Legion, Lock Haven, where he enjoyed many Sunday breakfasts.
He enjoyed working on small engines, particularly tractors and lawnmowers.
Dick was an avid Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Phillies fan.
He was a true people person who got along with everyone and enjoyed helping others.
Most important to him was his family. He cherished every moment he spent with grandchildren and often spoke of those moments.
Surviving is his son, Justin Litz (Rachel Kenyon) of Lock Haven; ten grandchildren: Cameron, Mason and Torran Litz and Penny, Mark, James, Wade, Amber, Brittany and Scotty Reese; his sister-in-law, Doris Leitch; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of his family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
