Rick Neff, 62, of Mill Hall, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Sunday, February 10, 2019.
Born on March 22, 1956, to the late Dorothy and Glenn Neff, Rick was the youngest of 9 siblings.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Harry, Joe, Glenn and John; and two sisters, Audrey and Rose. Surviving are two brothers, Sam (Brenda) and Mike (Bonnie) Neff, and a sister, Det Snyder.
Rick is survived by three daughters, Shelly (Chuck Poorman) Neff of Lock Haven, Tawnya Confer of North Carolina, and Tierney (Cody) Germello of Lock Haven; four sons, Ricky Neff of NY, Quinton Neff of Johnstown, Pat Neff of Mill Hall, and Larry Neff of Lock Haven; two step-children, Jason (Tiffany) Dampier of Camp Hill and Jennifer Legg of Georgia; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He also leaves behind his beloved wife, Lynn Neff.
Since 2006, Rick was employed by R.C. Bowman, where he enjoyed working in heavy equipment. He loved the outdoors, his tractor, four-wheeler, guns and barn animals. Beyond all, his greatest love was being “Pappy” to his great granddaughters.
Anyone who knew Rick will always remember his kind heart and funny sense of humor. Rick Neff will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
