Robert Holgate Obituary
Robert J. Holgate, 77, of Lock Haven, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Watsontown Nursing Home.
Born in Jersey Shore on January 18, 1948, he was the son of the late Larue Winston Reighard and Maude Zinck Holgate.
Robert was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, serving in Vietnam.
Following his return from service, he worked as a lumberjack in the logging industry for many years.
He was a member of the VFW and American Legion, both of Jersey Shore.
Robert had a love of nature and enjoyed spending his time outdoors. He also enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by a daughter, Angel (Wayne) Day of Millville; a sister, Josephine Watkins; two grandchildren, Elijah and Hanna Day; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frances Laubach.
Per Robert's wishes, no services will be held.
