Obituary
Robert S. McCully, 74, of Beech Creek, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Bob was born in Lock Haven on July 26, 1948 to the late Kenneth and Marjorie Rupert McCully of Mechanicsburg.
On November 24, 1977, he married the former Cathy Walker, who survives.
Bob graduated Bald Eagle-Nittany High School in 1966 and went to work at Corning Asahi in State College for 30 years until his retirement in 1998. Bob enjoyed farming on the family farm in Beech Creek until his medical problems kept him from doing so. He was also well known for his love of his John Deere tractors.
In addition to his wife, Cathy, he is survived by his children, Shawn (Stephanie) McCully of Mt. Pleasant Mills and Tara (Mark) Walker of Beech Creek; his grandchildren: Nicholas, Nathaniel, Maddie, Evan and Katelyn; a sister, Kelly (James) Mann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Robert's request, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob's memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice, c/o Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
