Robert Merrill Brungard

Robert Merrill Brungard, 74, of Loganton passed away peacefully at home on September 23, 2025.
Born December 17, 1950 in Lock Haven, he was a son of the late Harold and Christine (Bierly) Brungard.
Robert was a 1968 graduate of the former Sugar Valley High School and a 1970 graduate of the former Williamsport Area Community College.
He retired as a mechanic/welder from PennDot after 30+ years and also worked part-time at Central PA Auto Auction.
Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman.
On October 24, 1970, he married the former Mary Lamey.
In addition to his wife, Mary Brungard of Loganton, he is survived by his son, Jeffrey (Sherrie) Brungard of Loganton; his daughter, Melissa (Brungard) Gregory of Dumfries, VA; grandchildren: Brandon (Hailey), Cole and Dawson Brungard and Joseph (Tori), Teressa, Daniel, Catherine, Elizabeth and Grace Gregory; great grandchildren, Axel and Bowden Gregory; his sister, Jane (LeRoy) Rossman and her family; and two aunts, Mary Winner and Alma Seyler.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 3 PM at St. John Lutheran Church, Booneville, with Pastor Brenda Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Loganton.
Friends and family will be received at the church on Friday from 1:30 PM until the time of the service.
